Mentalis/ Pebbled Chin
Service Description
A “wrinkly chin” is often the result of an overactive chin muscle (mentalis). You can see this overactivity in most people due to the normal ageing process: however, it can also be seen in younger people as well. The muscle causes dimpling and bumps and after years of repetitive movements, the overlying skin becomes wrinkly. The skin’s texture gets worse over time and thin cross-hatched lines develop creating a cobblestone chin or orange peel chin. The mentalis muscle can easily and safely be treated with Botulinum Toxin. This treatment known as Chin-Tox reduces the mentalis muscles overactivity. After two weeks you can see improvements in the wrinkling, creasing and dimpling of the skin as the skin appears much smoother and lengthens the chin. In turn this creates the appearance of a slimmer face.
Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all bookings, this will be deducted from your total treatment cost. If you cancel your appointment your booking fee will be lost. However, you can reschedule your appointment with a minimum of 48 hours notice and your booking fee will be transferred to your rescheduled appointment. Appointments can be rescheduled up to two times, if you want to reschedule for a third time you will lose your booking fee and will need to rebook and pay the additional booking fee. You can reschedule up to 48 hours before your treatment starts.
