Service Description
Aqualyx™ is a non-surgical injectable fat loss and contouring treatment. This gel-based solution is injected into areas of unwanted stubborn fat and works by disrupting the surface of the fat cells, causing them to liquify and be permanently destroyed. The fat is then absorbed into the lymphatic system and excreted. It is a permanent result assuming no weight is gained after the treatment as this will make new fat cells. Aqualyx™ breaks down fat cells slowly and this is paramount to keep skin laxity. The treatment is quick and pain level is minimal to moderate and subsides quickly after treatment. Some people may see an improvement after 1-2 sessions but up to 3 may be required depending on the amount of fat in the area. Chins, where there is less fat for example, may require just one treatment. Areas: Double Chin, Jowls, Upper Arms, Armpits, Bra Overhang, Waist, Hips, Knees, Chest, Inner Thighs, Back of Thighs, Buttocks and Back. Treatments will be spaced at 4 weeks apart. New clients please book a consultation first to assess your suitability. Pre care No alcohol or anti-inflammatories* at least 24 hours prior Be aware no showers, baths or hot tubs for at least 24 hours post treatments * Anti-inflammatories will affect the treatment Aftercare: - Common side effects include bruising, redness, tightness, tenderness, itching, swelling and heat, these will subside within 3-6 days - Swelling can be reduced by using a cool pack wrapped in a clean cloth and used for a maximum of 20 minutes per day - Drink two litres of water a day for tw weeks after treatment - Do not touch the area, apply make up or skin care for 24 hours - No alcohol for 48 hours - No anti-inflammatory* medications for 72 hours - No exercise for 48 hours or until side effects have passed - Avoid all direct sources of heat or severe cold for 3 days - Do lymphatic massage everyday for a couple of minutes, once side effects have passed, and continue for four weeks for best results * Anti-inflammatories will affect the treatment
Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all bookings, this will be deducted from your total treatment cost. If you cancel your appointment your booking fee will be lost. However, you can reschedule your appointment with a minimum of 48 hours notice and your booking fee will be transferred to your rescheduled appointment. Appointments can be rescheduled up to two times, if you want to reschedule for a third time you will lose your booking fee and will need to rebook and pay the additional booking fee. You can reschedule up to 48 hours before your treatment starts.
